Life isn’t always fair and doesn’t always turn out as planned.
Sometimes it feels like we’re the only ones having a hard time … but sometimes the most helpful thing is to share ideas and struggles with others.
Our groups provide individuals with a comfortable setting for sharing. Our hope is that by connecting, listening and talking with others, you will learn from their experiences and successes. All groups are facilitated by an experienced and skilled Counsellor. The Counsellor will offer new ideas and perspectives on a wide range of topics.

Therapeutic Group for Men
Everyone experiences conflict in relationships at some point. Whether it’s with friends, family members, co-workers or romantic partners, the trick to maintaining positive relationships is understanding how to resolve disagreements in a constructive way.
Strive is a therapy group for men experiencing challenges in relationships. It will help you enhance your well-being by showing you how to develop healthier relationship skills based on your own personal values and what you want your life to be. We want you to experience stronger relationships and a balanced life with less conflict.
Strive consists of the following modules,
which can be taken in any order:
- Self-awareness and self-management
- Conflict resolution and communication skills
- Core beliefs, values, and self-image
- Balancing power in relationships
You will learn ways to:
- Develop a vision and plan for the life you want to live
- Effectively resolve conflicts in relationships
- Balance life’s competing demands and pressures
THE TREE OF LIFE
The Tree of Life is a group approach that uses ideas from nature to help people rediscover stories of strength from their lives that have been hidden from memory by hardship and difficulty. Often when people have run into difficulties, these experiences have a way of getting us to forget what is important to us, and what we want for ourselves and our families. The Tree of Life seeks to help people re-connect with their skills, abilities, hopes, dreams, significant relationships and gifts that are a part of people’s lives. After having rediscovered our strengths, a safe place is created that allows us to look at the “storms” or the challenges in our lives in a way that highlights our resilience.
